You need 2 years of writing experience to be considered for publication.
PT Copy Editor
Travel Noire needs a part-time copy editor to ensure is logically structured and adhere’s to the brand’s style guide. You will need to fact-check, ensure illustrations and captions are correct and identify potential legal problems with content.
You need 1 – 2 years of digital publishing experience.
Features Manager (NYC)
amNewYork is looking for a creative journalist to create and curate content for the Eat & Drink vertical, to monitor national news, identify important issues and trends and analyze the analytics. You need to know New York well and will need to be available for one weekend shift and some evening hours.
You need a bachelor’s degree and 2- 3 years of web experience. You also need video experience.
Elite Yelp Reviewer/Writer (LA)
Keller Williams Silicon Beach is looking for someone to take 1 -2 pictures and write 140 to 250-character descriptions for parks, historic neighborhoods, museums, cafes, farmer’s markets and other places. You need 2 years of writing experience. Pay is $15 to $17 an hour.
Freelance Photographer (Hana, HI)
Oyster.com is looking for a photographer who can shoot hotels in The Big Island.
You need a DSLR with a wide-angle lens, and you must have a car and a driver’s license.
Real Estate Photographer (Baltimore)
NGMY is looking for a dedicated freelance photographer to shoot properties including apartments, homes and commercial spaces, including interiors. The properties are in and around a 50-mile radius of Hagerstown, MD.
You should have 2 years of photography experience with 1 year of real estate photography. A driver license is required.

The Lodging Company is looking for bloggers with knowledge of the ski industry. These positions have the potential to be long-term. You’ll be paid on a per-article basis.
Product Review Editor
Fitness Goat needs an editor to focus on fitness equipment reviews. The job requires about 5 – 10 hours a week. You need to be able to provide constructive feedback to writers and you’ll need to manage five or more freelancers, including assigning brief and sourcing new writers.
You need copywriting, web editing, and CMS experience. The position pays $24 an hour.

Chicology is looking for a freelancer to write 1,000-word articles about window treatments.

Ebony is looking for someone to produce long-form content and relevant stories across its portfolio of brands to create long-form content. You need to pitch and execute original ideas, and you need to contribute several articles a week.
You need experience in digital publishing, copywriting, headline writing, and a basic understanding of SEO.
Pop Culture Writer
Topix is looking for a writer for its black pop culture vertical Blackbeat, including funny Internet videos, historical facts, cute pets and cool travel topics. You need to a sense of humor, to know Internet slang and to be familiar with black celebrity culture and internet culture. You will sync with the rest of the team via Slack.
You need 2 years of writing experience and a background creating slideshows, listicles and quizzes.
FT Freelance Copywriter
Viacom is looking for someone to write website and app content for all of its brands including Comedy Central, MTV, VH1, CMT and TV Land. You will be required to adhere to an in-house style guide and ensure your copy is optimized for SEO. This job involves managing multiple projects simultaneously.
You need at least 3 years of copywriting experience and the ability to change the voice of your content suit different shows and networks.
Creative Director, Promos (NYC)
Comedy Central is looking for someone to write comedy campaign concepts and treatments and to help junior writers create copy and scripts that deliver. You will lead pre-production, which may include directing and shooting promos, and you’ll manage producers to create creative concepts and brand-specific ideas that will launch new show campaigns. You will also create content for all social media channels.
You need a college degree and at least 10 years of hands-on experience as a writer/producer with 2-3 years in a lead creative capacity.
Youtube Content Manager
The Attractive Man wants an individual to manage the dating channel and help boost publishing frequency from 3 videos a week to 5 videos a week. Your responsibilities will including revising scripts and video and preparing and publishing videos. You’ll need to communicate with creators, track the content schedule and find new topics. You’ll also write emails for email subscribers and monitor metrics.
The job is expected to require 20 – 30 hours a week initially. Starting pay is $15 – $25/ hour based on experience.
FT Social Media Manager (NYC)
Page Six TV needs someone who has strong creative skills that suit the pop culture and entertainment markets. You’ll develop social media content daily based on the production schedule with the goal of driving viewers to the show. You’ll provide sharable gifs and memes. You’ll also track social media activity related to shows and analyze media analytics on a weekly basis.
You need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 2 -3 years of experience in social media. You also need knowledge of tools, including CMS and analytics tools such as Photoshop, Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Sprout Social Guide, Facebook Analytics and Canvs.
You’ll be required to undergo a background check.
Freelance Photo Researcher/Editor
Topix is looking for someone to source and edit a high volume of photos for its pop culture vertical to maximize the clickthrough rate of quizzes, Facebook post, etc. Editing includes color correction.
You need at least 2 years of digital photo editing experience, basic knowledge of online advertising, and an understanding of stock agencies and image licensing. You also need experience with Photoshop, Bridge and other imaging software.
ProCreative is looking for freelance script writers to create sketch comedy scripts.
Business & Career
Snap Agency is looking for copywriters with experience in manufacturing, medical, architectural, sanitation, healthcare, or communication industry who can write a couple of SEO blog posts for their clients each month. You need to be aware of industry trends for online marketing and assist with marketing campaigns.
These positions are open to entry-level writers with strong writing skills.
Digital Content Editor (DC)
National Association of Manufacturers is looking for an individual who can rapidly write and create interactive material across multiple platforms, including, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, email and NAM web properties. The job includes regularly scouring the internet, predicting trending conversations and finding a way to engage with content. You’ll need to collaborate with the digital team and assist with paid social execution.
You need at least 3 years of digital content management experience. You need knowledge of content management systems, including Drupal and WordPress, as well as experience with CRM systems, digital analytics, and SEO.
Growth Editor-Contract (Brighton, MA)
Harvard Business Publishing is looking for someone to edit, adapt and curate career-starting content. You’ll manage pitches and submissions from outside contributors and must be able to leverage Snapchat and other social platforms to increase awareness of content and drive new audience growth.
You need 3 -5 years of digital editorial experience and the ability to collaborate with a team.
Great Place to Work is looking for freelancers with an understanding of corporate human resources and workplace culture to fill hybrid writing and editing roles. You’ll interview executives and other sources to learn about companies’ culture, write for the website, social channels, and media partners. You ’ll develop story ideas for the internal research database, contribute to marketing campaigns and edit writing from thought leaders and C-suite executives.
You need a bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience as a journalist, writer or editor. You need expert-level skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and the ability to manage virtual project teams.
Fashion/Interior Design Content Writers
SynZeBe wants writers who will submit 5 – 12 articles per month that range 400 – 500 words each. You need an understanding of textile topics related to fashion and interior design. Writing will include news and analysis on current topics and Q &As. Topics will include high fashion, sustainability and transparency in the supply chain.
Pay is listed as $22 an hour but the company asks that you submit your payment expectations.
Marijuana Investing Writer

The company offers a monthly retainer and incentive compensation plan.
Proxibid needs a creative storyteller to write 4 – 5 articles a day that are about 300 words each. Topics include industry insights, company news and product information across multiple channels. The articles are assigned weekly. You need strong research skills and your articles should be optimized for SEO.
You need a bachelor’s degree or 5 years of related experience. You also need expertise with Office suites and online conferencing software.
Multimedia Journalist (Austin, TX)
The Austin American-Statesman needs a visual storyteller who can produce video and stills for daily and project assignments. You should be able to identify video opportunities in upcoming story ideas and to pitch story ideas. Your responsibilities include actively engaging with social media strategies as well as shooting, arranging, and audio engineering for one or two live music performances per month.
You 2 – 3 years of video/photojournalism experience and expertise with Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop. You must also have a flexible schedule that includes nights and weekends.
