The Villages Daily Sun is a daily newspaper seeking a full-time photojournalist to shoot some news and sports events but primarily human interest stories.
Multimedia Graphics Artist (Tarentum, PA)
Trib Total Media is looking for a full-time digital graphic artist to create content for their website and social media platforms. Content includes informational, data-driven videos, motion graphics, social media-centric charts and infographics. You’ll also craft visuals pertaining to trending daily news, sports and features topics. The job requires some work on print graphic. You’ll have both long-term and deadline-driven projects.
You graphics and 3D skills, knowledge of Adobe software as well as Excel, HTML, Python and more. You should be a strong illustrator.
Financial Reporter
Global Market, a China-based monthly magazine that focuses on business, economics, and finance, is recruiting part-time journalists to help open up overseas distribution channels.
You need 3 – 5 years of business writing experience, a bachelor’s degree and a network or relationships in politics, finance and economics. Pay is $500 to $2000 per article.

You’ll need to write casual, fast paced, succinct, and infotaining scripts for short films based on supplied research. You need to be currently pursuing a journalism degree or have a bachelor’s and have 1 -3 years of tech blogging experience. You also need SEO experience.
Robotics, Drones Curriculum Writer
Launch Code After School wants someone to take on a full-time contract role developing, creating and editing a variety of educational and assessment materials for kids age 7 – 14. The job will include writing and editing age-appropriate reading and coding passages, writing lessons and using style and procedure guides.
You need a bachelor’s degree, expertise in circuits, robotics and/or drone programming, and 5-year experience in science education grades 2 – 12.
Smartphone/App Writers
Gadget Hacks wants writers who can produce news, tips, tricks, guides, and comparisons about smartphones and apps. You should a finger on the pulse of the smartphone community. The job will require you to research, pitch and write the content. You’ll need to take pictures and include screenshots. This position could require working up to 40 hours per week.
You must be able to find bugs and user pain points and resolve them.
